Hockey Fights
Cancer.
Paul’s story.
This fall, he’s getting national attention for an uplifting story in the National Hockey League’s “NHL Fights Cancer” campaign.
Join Expert IT Operations as our founder, Paul Kearney, shares a cause that means so much to him and to our team.

Why this cause
matters to Paul
Cancer isn’t an abstract cause for our founder. Paul has been through it twice. He shared this photograph from the hospital along with his story, a reminder of the experience behind this campaign.
“I was lucky to beat cancer twice and we pray for those who are fighting it right now.”
A lifelong Flyers fan, Paul was invited to NHL Headquarters in Manhattan to film alongside Melissa Doyle. They shared their experiences for a cancer awareness campaign, bringing a very personal story to the hockey community.

Paul joined Melissa Doyle at NHL Headquarters in Manhattan to film a cancer awareness commercial. These photos take you behind the scenes of their day on set.
As screen partners, they shared their experiences with cancer. For Paul, taking part was a way to reach others facing the disease through a sport that has been part of his life for years.
Expert IT Operations also supports cancer research through charity events, golf outings, sponsorships, and donations. Taking part in this campaign gives Paul and our team another way to support a cause that matters personally.
Stand with Melissa
Paul met Melissa Doyle during the NHL commercial shoot. They became friends, and she is still in the midst of her battle with cancer.
“My commercial mate and now friend for life is still in the thick of her battle.”
Cancer affects more than the person receiving treatment. Families and caregivers can face hospital and doctor bills, transportation costs, child care, help at home, and the expense of treatment itself.
Melissa’s GoFundMe helps with the financial strain of treatment and everyday living expenses. If you can, please donate. Sharing her fundraiser or offering encouragement is another way to help.
